toggled). A column is also not editable when egoEditing is
not in the grid’s Options, or when
the dataset cannot be edited.
Until it is assigned, it is the field’s ReadOnly, read
from the dataset each time. Assigning it gives the column its own value
(cvReadOnly in AssignedValues);
RestoreDefaults
goes back to the field’s.
A lookup column’s default is False, not the field’s own
ReadOnly (which a lookup field always reports as
True): the grid offers its list and writes the key fields
regardless, so the field’s value would be misleading here. Assign
ReadOnly := True on the column to make a lookup column
non-editable.
