property DataSource: TDataSource;The data source whose dataset the grid shows and edits, as in the VCL
TDBGrid. Any TDataSet descendant can be used;
the grid shows nothing while the data source, or its dataset, is not
assigned or the dataset is closed.
The grid follows the dataset: moving the active row moves the
dataset’s current record, and a change made to the dataset elsewhere (a
navigator, code) shows in the grid at once. Editing goes through the
dataset too; the rules are those of the VCL grid (see Editing). The dataset’s
DisableControls stops the grid from following it until
EnableControls.
Assigning another data source clears the multi-selection, whose row identities belong to the old dataset.
