TabOnEnter

Class: TEgFireGrid

property TabOnEnter: Boolean default False;

When True, Enter moves to the next cell as Tab does, and Shift+Enter to the previous one, so a row can be typed in one value after the other, each followed by Enter. From an editor the value is written first.

Enter keeps its own meaning where it has one: a new line in the multi-line (memo) editor, where Ctrl+Enter moves on instead, and the choice of an item in an open list or date picker. It works whether or not egoTabs is in Options. On Android the virtual keyboard’s Enter key shows Next.

TEgDBGridEx has the same property, which moves only from the grid itself; here it also works from the editors.
