property DateEditor: TEgFireGridDateEditor;What edits the column’s date and date-time cells:
gdeText (the field’s text) or gdePicker (a
date picker, with a time box beside it for a date-time). Only fields the
dataset reports as a date or a date-time are concerned.
Until it is assigned, the column follows the grid’s DateEditor,
and changes with it. Assigning it, even to the value it already shows,
gives the column its own value (cvDateEditor in AssignedValues),
which the grid’s no longer changes; RestoreDefaults
makes it follow the grid again.
