Alignment

Class: TEgFireGridColumn

property Alignment: TTextAlign;

Horizontal alignment of the text in the column’s data cells: Leading (left), Center or Trailing (right).

Until it is assigned, it is Trailing for a number column, Center for a boolean column and Leading for the others (see DataKind), read from the dataset each time. Assigning it gives the column its own value (cvAlignment in AssignedValues); RestoreDefaults goes back to the field’s. The title’s alignment is Title.Alignment.

On a boolean column, Alignment also moves the check box glyph itself (not only the text) in most styles; a style whose check box is a self-centring shape with no separate background object (the bundled Air style is the known case) keeps its own centring regardless of Alignment.
