ApplyCustomFontOnDesktop

Class: TEgFireGrid

property ApplyCustomFontOnDesktop: Boolean default False;

Whether the fonts and text colours set on the grid and on its columns are used on Windows.

With False (the default) the cells and the titles keep the font and the text colour of the active style, whatever Font, TitleFont, FontColor and TitleFontColor say, on the grid or on a column: the values are kept, only not applied. With True each of them applies as soon as it is assigned (see FontAssigned).

There is one switch per platform category, ApplyCustomFontOnMobile being the one for Android, because a font chosen for a desktop form is often wrong on a phone, and the other way round. The category is fixed when the application is compiled.

Always applied, whatever this switch says: a column’s SubTitleFont and SubTitleFontColor, and the text colour and font style an OnBeforeDrawCell handler gives a cell. The in-place editors always use the style’s font.
