CellVAlign

Class: TEgColumn

property CellVAlign: TTextLayout stored <overridden>;

Column-level override of TEgDBGridEx.CellVAlign - same vertical alignment (tlTop, tlCenter, or tlBottom), scoped to this column’s own data cells. Left untouched, the column follows the grid-wide value live; setting it here adds ecvCellVAlign to AssignedValues and this column’s own value is used from then on, independent of the grid, until RestoreDefaults clears it.

On a graphic/BLOB column showing a real decoded image, this value also decides where that image itself sits (tlTop/tlCenter/tlBottom) - and, when ImageIndex also draws an overlay icon on top of it, the icon’s own vertical position is the opposite half of this value, so the two never compete for the same space. See ImageIndex for the full behavior.
