EDB2MySQL starts in Demo mode until a valid license is
activated.
Demo mode is fully functional but limits the number of tables and rows
processed, so production databases cannot be migrated without a
license.
| Operation | Limit |
|---|---|
| Schema conversion — tables | One quarter of the total tables (minimum 3) |
| Schema conversion — foreign keys | Not included in the generated script |
| Data migration — tables | Same cap as schema conversion |
| Data migration — rows per table | 50 rows |
| SQL Console — rows in result | 50 rows |
Click the About button in the application toolbar
(top-right of the main window).
Select Licensed from the mode selector — the license
key field becomes visible.
Enter your license key (format: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX)
and click Validate.
When the key is accepted, click Close to apply.
The application switches to Licensed mode immediately and the limits
are removed.
The key and mode are saved between runs.
If the key is rejected (wrong product, expired, or invalid), the mode remains Demo.
Contact support if you believe your key is valid.
