TEgDBGridEx extends TDBGrid. It works with any TDataSet descendant - FireDAC, ElevateDB, IBX, dbExpress, etc. - and every inherited property, method and event remains available. Existing TDBGrid code keeps working as-is; the added behavior is opt-in.
